Make a Dozen Mini Roses
Take a look at True2Scale for the instructions for making some miniature roses. Very nice detail! She uses coffee filters or japanese silk paper and punches (1/4" heart, 3/16" teardrop, 1/4" star) to make the flowers and leaves.
Make Some Camp Chairs
At Doreen's Miniature Projects, she shares some step-by-step photos for making folding camp chairs. She used stir sticks and shishkabob skewers for the wood parts and green fabric for the seating.
